Lt-Gov. Timothy Murray addresses Boxford caucus

Lt. Governor Timothy Murray was in Boxford on Thursday, February 11, attending the annual caucus of Democrats held in the conference room at the Boxford Police station.  The Lt. Governor visited the caucus and made remarks afterwards to the Democrats in attendance.

Murray praised the group for being engaged in civic life and thanked them for attending the caucus.  He enumerated achievements of the Patrick/Murray administration and outlined goals for its re-election campaign.

At the caucus, registered Democrats in Boxford elected a slate of delegates at the caucus to represent the town at the 2009 Massachusetts Democratic Convention.

After the Lt.-Governor’s remarks, the committee held a brief business meeting.


Boxford elects 2010 Delegates to State Convention

Boxford’s annual caucus elected a full slate of delegates and alternates to attend the annual state Democratic Convention in Worcester in June.

Elected as delegates at the February 11 caucus were:  Anthony Adamopoulos of Main Street, West Boxford; David Woodruff, Pye Brook Road; Donald Bumiller, King George Drive; Frank Pomroy, Mill Run Road; Rosalie Sedita, Sunrise Road and Joan Campbell, Pinehurst Drive.   The chair of the Boxford Democratic Town Committee at the time of the June convention will complete the delegation, serving ex officio.
